My Journey

Complimentary therapies have been an integral part of my life for many years. They have supported me through ill health when traditional western medicine appeared to be falling short. I do not see them as a replacement but as a way to support our bodies in this fast paced, high intensity world that we live in. Having been fascinated for many years by different therapies I am now training to become a fully qualified Shiatsu Therapist. A form of therapy I feel is accessible to all and therefore highly inclusive.

My progression

I have completed my first year of a 3 year course and can now begin to practice, hence the opening of my business. I will be continuing my training at the Northern School of Shiatsu. They are on hand to offer me advice, support and guidance and will monitor my work and progress throughout the final two years.

Professional registration

I am a student with the Northern School of Shiatsu. A student member of the Shiatsu Society uk and am registered with them as a wellbeing practitioner. I also hold professional level insurance through the Shiatsu Society for the level of treatments I am currently offering.
